“Always Near” Original Art

Acrylic on Paper - size 9”x12”

On the evening I painted the wings onto this mermaid, I didn’t yet know that a dear friend had passed away. Looking back, that unexpected decision became deeply meaningful to me. Today, this painting reminds me that love continues beyond what we can see and that the people who touch our lives leave a lasting light behind.
