Created with acrylic,  gold leaf, and finished with oil paints, the gold in the sky catches the light differently throughout the day, giving the painting a beautiful glow that photographs can never fully capture.

There is something about watching light spill across the water that reminds me every day is another opportunity to begin again. This piece was inspired by those peaceful moments at the shoreline when the sky reflects every color imaginable and the first light turns the water into gold.
